So the holiday season is finally here! YAY! It’s funny because to me it doesn’t really feel like Christmas but I’m still excited for Christmas. That’s kind of weird, isn’t it? Anyways, since the holiday season is here, I wanted to just give a shout-out post to anyone who needs it to take time to RELAX during a break. I am currently on winter break and have been since last week and I’ll be honest, it feels GREAT.
At first I was like: “It’s oddly quiet and I’m feeling relaxed…What have I forgotten to do? ” XD but after a while, I kind of just let myself rest and it has helped me so much.
Even when things are crazy, don’t forget to let yourself get some rest and try to get a good night’s sleep. As a former insomniac, I know that sleep does not come easy sometimes but it’s important to let your body get some rest before tackling another day.
And not only get rest physically but also take care of yourself mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Don’t think that any of these areas are more or less significant than the other because they’re all a part of you. So please, I know things can get hectic and chaotic but please don’t forget or neglect the things that are necessary for you to take care of, especially yourself.
